Current planning Applications

With planning authorities continuing to provide the majority of their usual services, planning applications and consents are still being processed. Indeed, as some construction sites have been forced to slow down or stop completely, now is an ideal time to prepare for their re-mobilisation by working through the design and planning stages of a project.

A number of Pell-Stevens Architects designs are currently being considered for planning consent by the local authorities of Eastleigh, New Forest National Park and New Forest District Council. These include a dramatically re-modeled house in the New Forest, the design for which will transform it into a striking barn-style family home with an emphasis on future sustainability and low running costs whilst clothing the building in traditional New Forest finishing materials.

Elsewhere in the National Park, Pell-Stevens Architects have designed a sympathetic extension to a fine two storey farmhouse that rationalises some inefficient internal spaces and provides enhanced facilities for its owners. Further afield a much loved detached house is set to benefit from extensions that will improve the circulation and social spaces within the dwelling and enhance the external aesthetics of the main elevations.
